Thunder are currently touring with fellow old-school boys Deep Purple and Peter Frampton through some of the UK's biggest arenas. At Least for Thunder's short stint the results are very good indeed, and so is their latest single release.

I Love You More Than Rock ‘n Roll is taken from the legendary rock band's forthcoming studio album The Magnificent Seventh. It's a terrific tune which starts with a crisp guitar riff accompanied by Danny Bowes' firm vocals; with a strong rhythm section and a sing-along chorus it is perfect live material. The B-side Closer To The Fire opens with a hard riff before exploding into loud bursts of energy; along the way Luke Morley throws in a nifty guitar solo too.

Typically, Thunder has jumped onto the cash-cow bandwagon by producing 3 formats for this song - hence 3 seperate releases - but as their last single, Loser went to number 45, let's hope I Love You More Than Rock 'n Roll goes a little bit higher; it would be great to see Thunder back into the higher regions of the charts again.
