To many, the Neopolitan is the lush ice cream which did little to halt the Gino Ginelli craze of the nineties (but outlived it). But the damn thing is everywhere and everything. For instance, an internet magazine for guys who have to deal with women. Their motto: "sex, sports, violence and alcohol - what more does a guy need?"
What about music? Cause it was a love for music, and a spoken word song about keeping true to its independence, that prodded Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger to throw his cheque book at this oddly named Winnipeg quintet.
The group's influences span from gangsta rap to prog, which may explain the scratching and the gloopy bass over an awkward mash of post grunge on said song. As the saying goes, you learn something new everyday. Doesn't always mean its worth taking notice of, mind.
