A lot is being made of the fact that this latest release from the teutonic super-DJ is the most played dance tune in German radio history. When considering this it is worth noting that in Germany David Hasselhoff is a pop star, and fat women in horns singing about how happy they are to be dying is considered an art-form.

You know a track is being aimed as much at DJs as the record buying public when the promo copy turns up with five remixes on it, including ones by Gian and Dani Koenig. It’s a safe bet that you’ll be hearing it clubs from Inverness to Ibiza over the rest of the summer. As club tracks go this is a stormingly good one, even if the basic formula has been around for years.

It begins with a harpsichord-style opening before launching into your standard top-end dance number. With its warbling yet sultry R&B style vocals courtesy of Lima, exceptionally rhythmic synths and hypnotic base, this will definitely be filling dancefloors and turning up on dance 2006 compilation albums you’ll be getting this Christmas. Whether you’ll still be playing it at the end of January is a different matter.
