Let this be a lesson to you all. If you're going to play by the "live fast, die young" rules, then at least have the decency to stick to them. Tommy Lee was one of the most notorious hell raisers of all time, he's done it all: drugs, tons of girls, and plenty of good and bad times. He never died the rock star death that many believed he was heading for, though; instead he's returned to music as a solo artist (albeit a solo artist who happens to have an awful lot of star collaborators). Lucky us.

Good Times is a ballad. A rock ballad that sounds like Rob Thomas had something to do with writing it. It sounds like a plumb track for American radio or as filler on a drive time compilation. It lacks heart, soul and, incredibly - for someone whose anatomy is familiar to pretty much everyone thanks to that video - balls. It seems that with age, Tommy Lee has opted for an altogether quieter life, and a quick cash in.

Tommy Land must be a boring place to visit. You get there expecting loud, exciting thrills and you end up with a Merry-go-round that plays Good Times on endless repeat. It's just far too safe.
