There's just one problem with the lion's share of left-of-centre hip-hop: That very little of it sounds as innovatively funked-up as anything coming out of Missy Elliott's Mass Confusion Productions - which happens to be at least partly responsible for Tweet's Turn Da Lights Off.

As Tim 'Timbaland' Mosley appears to be elsewhere, Missy 'n' Tweet team-up with Beat Factory's Kwame 'K1 Mill' for a sweet, sweaty hymn to the act of the beast with two backs in the finest of R 'n' B traditions.

If Turn Da Lights Off is to be believed, Tweet's become a lot more bashful since Oops (Oh My) of a few years ago. Smart samples are abound while Tweet harmonizes as sweetly as a bird and La Elliott confesses to the "jones in her bones". Worthy of the attention of all. You know it makes sense.
