Tyler James' previous single Why Do I Do
announced his arrival as a young British singer to
keep an eye on, and Foolish should raise his profile
still further.
The guy has a prodigious voice with a range he's not
afraid to show off towards the end of this
gospel-tinged number. He also has a flair for a
good lyric. The song describes a feeling familiar to a
few of us, I daresay - the foolishness of falling into
the arms of an old flame, ignoring the voice in the
back of your head telling you there'll be trouble in
the morning.
Without wishing to draw unhealthy comparisons,
James is the sort of singer Daniel Bedingfield
could have been - sharp, pertinent and seemingly level
headed. Just watch him go!
