Just under a year since How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb was released and U2 are still releasing singles from it. All Because Of You is the fourth single to be released, and is another perfect example of why they're the biggest band in the world.
A mid-paced rocker, with The Edge on blistering form, it's a bit reminiscent of The Who in places. The lyrics could be read as a love song to God ("All because of you, I am" as the chorus runs) but it's done so subtly that it avoids alienating any non-religious listeners. Nice to hear Bono poking fun at his sometimes over-worthy persona too: "I like the sound of my own voice, I didn't give anyone else a choice".
Of course, anyone who wants this will already have the album, but it's worth buying just for the video which sees the band travelling round the streets of New York City on the back of a lorry - a great video for a great little song.
