With about a gazillion records sold between these two artists there's a lot of sense in Alicia Keys and Usher performing a duet, held together by the glue that is Jermaine Dupri.. After all he's surely on to a winner with arguably the best two voices in R&B on the same track.

Well, Victor Frankenstein's experiment went horribly wrong, and quite frankly - short of murderous consequences - My Boo shows why this type of collaboration should be banned. Both voices seem to fight for prominence over the hip-pop like beat. The result is quite messy.

While Usher is enjoying his renaissance as the king of R&B, wowing fans with the success of Confessions and, in the case of this reviewer, gaining new fans, he needn't have bothered with this. By the same token one would've assumed Alicia Keys would have had more class than to feature on this demeaning release.
