Joy of joys - more fad rock! You know the stuff; the music that attaches itself to commercials like barnacles on whales, except that Here We Go Again was used just the once at that bastion of groundbreaking music, the FA Charity Shield. But wait, look - they grimace for photo shoots and have a diacritic in their name: Edgy!

Lead singer "Shane" - he of the most scowling grimace and edgiest hair - sounds strangely Scandinavian (in a Caesars-esque pitch to Apple, perhaps) as the mildly comical track revives Roxette without even a hint of irony. It's almost as if Vanlustbäder's native Australia loved 1995 so much it decided to stay there forever.

But hey, you'll find this competent and even mildly enjoyable at moments. Well, until I tell you it was originally entitled Pixies Cars because "we thought it sounded like a cross between the two." And they're absolutely right, if by "Pixies and Cars" they mean "Stiltskin and Tabby from X-Factor". Crikey.
