Chirpy harmonica echoes the cheery faux-naïve opening line, "I've had the same jeans on for 4 days now/Gonna go to a disco in the middle of the town". Quite irresistible - Badly Drawn Boy with some spunk and a mad, twanging guitar solo as well.

If enough people hear this it'll undoubtedly be a hit because not only is it a good old-fashioned tune of the kind that even I can whistle after a couple of listens, it's also bursting with energy which is just infectious. Every few bars there's a quirky changes in pace which leaves you wanting more instead of wondering when the chorus will ever end, and the lyrics are delivered with the kind of sweet vocal honesty that got The Coral so far, irrespective of the quality of the singer's voice.

Immensely likeable music: no great depth but it cheers you right up.
