The Voom Blooms are a band with sense. They have tuned into the success of their obvious contemporaries, sounding akin to The Kooks and The Strokes which can only help nudge them to securing mainstream popularity, if not on the part of their euphoric confidence alone.

Anna is fun and full of frolics. The guitars are rough without being overpowering and not at the expense of George Guildford’s vocals. Anna could quite easily provide easy enjoyment in the comfort of your own home and pack the floor in the club.

One hopes however, the Voom Blooms aren't ruined Kooks-style by too much air play. In the words of Guildford, this song really will make you want to dance all night.
