Amalgams are an interesting proposition in music, most notably because they often end in tears before bedtime. Jamming two genres of music together does not make you a musical genius; in the majority of cases you wind up falling flat on your face and making a right tool of yourself.

VWF however have got it about right. Starting off with a grimy disco lick on a guitar and mixing it up with a standard dance beat, things quickly evolve into what is essentially a great rock and roll track. Imagine Rocket From The Crypt booking studio time with Kasabian and Scissor Sisters, and you're probably not too far from the sound of I Won't Do You Any Harm.

Any rock band that has its own horn section has to be worth taking note of, and when they fit in perfectly behind the kind of chorus that makes the floors at your local Indie night bow in the middle you know you're on to a winner. Expect to hear more from these Cardiff boys soon.
