In keeping with Erlend Oye's previous musical ventures, The Whitest Boy Alive thrive on musical subtlety and a gentle economy of expression. This is not, however, at the expense of intensity, as Oye's vocals are gently probing.

Golden Cage is one of the choice tracks from the Dreams album, propelled by a softly funky bass and hazy guitar work - a sleepy late afternoon track if ever there was one. Fred Falke gives it a coat of make up for the evening though, with a shiny electro groove straight out of the French school of classy house music, with a dreamy Mediterranean breakdown applied in the centre.

In truth the single is worth acquiring for this uplifting remix alone, a worthy companion to one of last year's finest sleeper albums.
