Poor old Wiley. First he falls out very publicly with his one-time protege Dizzee Rascal, then Johnny Come Latelys like Lethal Bizzle overtake him in the 'voice of Grime' stakes, and now some floozy on the dancefloor has pinched his Rolex - well, according to these lyrics anyway.

Cleverly built on an insanely catchy sample of DSK's House classic What Would We Do, Wearing My Rolex is one of those tunes that you just know will be massive from the first time you hear it. Eschewing the dancehall origins of Grime, it sees Wiley turn to a pure electro-pop sound, and the effect is stunning. It's contagious, danceable, and endearingly daft - there's not really much more to the lyrics than 'Wiley meets a girl on a dancefloor and gives her his watch", but no matter.

In fact, the only downside of Wearing My Rolex becoming a massive hit is that a load of Rio Ferdinand wannabes are going to spend hours conjuring up a dance to it and saying the word 'brap' a lot. Get ready to hear a lot of this song this summer.
