A brooding piece of deep house from X-Press 2, offering a good contrast to the countrified spirituality of Give It. Who said dance acts weren't versatile? As is the custom they have another guest vocalist, this time utilising Rob Harvey of The Music in a role that presents him in a surprisingly subdued light. You'd do well to spot the link from his intoned vocal.
Particularly clever is how the chanted mantra of "I feel love" is twinned with a bass line echoing the Donna Summer original in the radio edit. Meanwhile the instrumental accompaniment is subtly effective, not making much of an impact the first time round but rewarding repeat listening handsomely.
In a commendable exercise to encourage new remix talent the band have made the parts for the single available on a Kill 100 website, with the chance to vote for your favourite still possible up until the single's release. They'll be going some to outdo Carl Craig though, as the techno master hits form on an atmospheric interpretation, moving from a drum-dominated refrain to a riff of unmistakably Detroit origin.
