Praise be to the folk at Domino for giving this crunked-up party jam a proper release.
Yo Majesty (rappers Jwl B and Shunda K) originally released this track in 2006, but momentum has steadily been building for the Florida duo. One thing that's helped has been the plethora of bootleg remixes that have been crafted by bedroom producers around the world (check out DJ Paul V's Enya-sampling effort as a starter).
Another has been the gay girls incendiary live shows, which tend to end with one of them getting topless while rhyming about "Kryptonite Pussy", having already thanked God of course. They're a confusing bunch for sure, but Club Action is the perfect way in to their world. Over a slinky electro beat, the girls throwdown in a brilliantly old-school way, doubling up on a chorus that urges you to "bounce back and forth when you hear this". It's dirty, sweary and effortlessly cool and thoroughly deserves to be a huge hit second time around.
