The geekiest looking indie heroes since Jarvis Cocker are back, without a 'The' in their name this time, but still with the tweed, corduroy and NHS specs. Such attire is no obstacle to rocking out though, since Terra Firma rocks like the proverbial bastard.
At first listen, there's no real departure from Voices Of Animals And Men - there's the frantic pace, the shouty vocals courtsey of Henry Dartnall and that uncanny ability the band have to make the chorus bounce around your head a few seconds after hearing it.
Sounding as good in your bedroom as it will in indie discos up and down the land, Young Knives look set to capture our hearts all over again.
