Music publishers like to tell us that singles are strange things - that a song has be "suitable as a single" to be successful as a single release. But what does that mean? You can only feel sorry that a band as original and groundbreaking as The Butterfly Effect has to release this as their debut single.

Sure, it's short, sharp and may well have its 15 minutes of fame, but it's bordering on the average and it in no way reflects the maturity of the rest of their debut album (in fact, it's probably the only weak song on it). One can only hope that the press and the public will give them a second glance when the brilliant Begins Here is released.
