We've been cautioned about High Voltage and we've been invited to a Gay Bar, and amidst these queer goings on Electric Six have asserted themselves as a formidable force, capable of filling dance floors within seconds. Dance Commander will be no different, boasting Kraftwerk style synths paired with funky guitar riffage, and that's just the verse. Valentine also unleashes his falsetto voice - step aside, Mr. Timberlake.

What follows for the chorus is an onslaught of hyperactive guitar driven noise and swirling keys. The lyrics are laughable throughout - quite literally - in places seemingly random, but this, coupled with Valentine's... unique... way of delivering the said comical couplets provides amusement for all. Electric Six are a funny band, make no mistake.

But the spot is well and truly hit when the same riff that we all know and love from Danger! High Voltage comes into the medley, producing a sound nothing less than fantastic. So prepare to rock your body... to the seriously funked-up Electric Six. Their happy disco rock is rivalled by none, and should be embraced by all.
