With the very welcome rumour that Kate Bush may be releasing a new album in 2005 comes the first signs of a revival courtesy of Sunderland's Futureheads.

Cover versions tend to fall into two categories - the Pop Idol-style karaoke version or the total reinvention. No guesses which way The Futureheads have gone - the title track from Bush's classic album is turned into a stuttering, jerky art-punk number and it sounds wonderful. A quick warning though - the famous backing vocals will reverberate on your internal jukebox for some time to come.

They've been threatening a Franz Ferdinand style crossover for some time, and Hounds Of Love looks like it could very well be the song that does it for them. Now come on Kate, about that new album...
