The war in Iraq: on both sides of the Atlantic, everyone has an opinion. All Of Our Hands voices American Joseph Arthur's. Lines like: "We are all the same spirit, we are all the same love / And still somehow we've chosen to slaughter the white dove," illustrate Arthur's standpoint - that the war is unnecessary, pointless almost. Pronouns like 'we' and 'us' are used to convince the listener they are involved, and the video at All Of Our Hands.com helps demonstrate the ugliness of humanity.

All Of Our Hands is a simple song: An acoustic guitar, colourful lyrics and children singing along with the chorus (similar to fellow anti-war activist John Lennon's Give Peace A Chance) are all that's needed.

Since his discovery by Peter Gabriel (and initial signing to the Salisbury Hill singer's label Real World Records), Arthur hasn't "made it big" in the UK. All Of Our Hands won't change this. It may, however, change some opinions.
