Picture a dreary day at work. It's cold. It's getting dark early and suddenly the next batch of musicOMH reviews arrive at my desk. Straight away they go on my headphones, hoping to transport me into a different world created by musical delights.
Within a few bars of this Scandinavian band's new single I'm suddenly transported Mr Ben-style to one of those Hollywood teen movies where everyone has nice hair and shiny teeth. I'm Ashton Kutcher and I'm going out with the head cheerleader in somewhere resembling the set of The O.C. We walk down the beach in sunsets and get milkshakes together at the mall. But her father objects to the relationship and we end up splitting up. Then I re-live our relationship in a sentimental montage of beaches, milkshakes and even shinier teeth as this tune plays.
After four minutes the single finishes and suddenly I'm back at my desk in the cold and dark. I decide that being Ashton Kutcher is crap since you have to listen to tedious teen ballads like this all the time.
