Andrew is a music writer based in Glasgow. There are few things he enjoys more than discovering new music, digging for gold at record fairs and attending gigs in small, sweaty holes underground. He is partial to psych, soul, funk, punk, alt-rock, soft-rock and a whole lot more besides. His ambitions include discussing the songwriting process with Smokey Robinson, seeing Tom Waits live in concert and penning the definitive biography on pop phenomenon Wham!
