Luke Winkie
Here's everything published by this contributor on musicOMH.
Luke Winkie hails from the much maligned, and much joked about county-town of El Cajon, a few miles outside the much more civilized (and recognizable) San Diego. He works making pizzas by night to pay for his college classes by day, and has just been accepted as a transfer to the University of Texas at Austin.
The first concert Luke experienced was the under-appreciated Weird Al Yankovic at the Del Mar Fair, he still maintains that it was one of the best gigs ever.
Luke is going to be an English major, but someday hopes to either cover music full-time, or write screenplays with his younger brother Mitchell Winkie. He most certainly does not wish to continue making pizzas for the rest of his life.
