Matt Cotsell grew up in the Wiltshire countryside, listening to pop, before discovering grunge and experimental music in the early '90s. That obsession with celebrating otherness and independence, grew into admiration for free jazz, electronica and outsider soul. After completing a Bachelors in Fine Art and periods spent living in London and Berlin, he now resides in Brighton, where he works as a writer, musician, DJ, graphic designer and photographer.
