Ross was born in the Black Country. Raised in a home where Adam Ant was the one true musical messiah, he swore to never take pop music seriously, and has recently decided that writing about it is the only way he can convince people he hasn't been wasting his time by listening to odd records his entire life. Top Five on the Stereo at Time of Press: Stooges / Royal Trux / My Bloody Valentine / The Birthday Party / Dinosaur Jr He favours the third Velvet Underground record. He prefers the fat Jim Morrison. He often prefers covers to original material - "Loop's cover of Mother Sky is better than most bands' new tunes," he once said. He disagrees with Lester Bangs about Berlin, the album. He did an English degree, and doesn't know why. Flowers of Romance is his favourite PIL album etc.
