Born in Reading on September 26th, 1986, Tom has been surrounded by the music of Radios 1, 2, 3, 4 and yes, even 5, since (probably) conception. Tom took up an interest in music reviews at the tender age of 15, in an attempt to raise awareness about the still-vibrant music scene of Berkshire, of which he was a part in his own band Inuit Monk. Now a bandless, penny-saving student at Cardiff University, Tom pays close attention to the shifting trends of today's music scene, whilst broadening his childhood influences of R.E.M., Richard Thompson and Ali Farka Touré.
