Hyde and Beast – aka Dave Hyde of The Futureheads and Neil Bassett of The Golden Virgins – have been whipping up a quiet storm since the release of their second album, Keep Moving, last summer. An uplifting, rootsy interpretation of ’70s rock, they’re brilliantly timeless. They’re throwing a release party for the new EP, Hard Times Good Times, at The Sebright Arms on Saturday.
