Gig Of The Week
Josh Tillman – aka Father John Misty – last played in the capital a few days after the release of his second album, I Love You, Honeybear, giving those who fell for him via his debut FJM recording little time to get enthused about his latest offering. Eight months later he’s returning to a bigger venue to remind us of an album that’s surely about to appear on countless ‘best of 2015’ lists. It’s a complex, passionate record that’s bound to make for a fascinating live show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire this Wednesday and Thursday.
