Gig Of The Week
Nathaniel Rateliff drops in at Peckham’s Bussey Building on Saturday ahead of a wider UK tour, which includes the Village Underground on 19 October.
His current band, The Night Sweats, give him the opportunity to really let rip, and his voice has moved on from folkish rock troubadour into something more raucous. The band’s recent, self titled album was released by Stax Records, and will bring a bit of the Deep South to, er, the Deep South of London.
Announcement Of The Week
They Might Be Giants have announced a UK tour for early next year, including a date at Shepherd’s Bush Empire – which they managed to sell out when they were last on our shores three years ago – on 4 February.
