José González’s Junip call into the Village Underground on Tuesday. We gave their recent self-titled album four stars, calling it “an album full of small but powerful gestures.”
John Grant’s brilliant Pale Green Ghosts was an unlikely hit earlier this year, charting at Number 16. The former The Czars frontman will bring his emotionally-charged, brooding electro to the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Wednesday.
The Postal Service’s world reunion tour stops off at Brixton Academy on Sunday, while across town fellow Americans The Flaming Lips will be putting on a typically flamboyant show at the Roundhouse.
