Although at musicOMH we love our long-established choral groups, sometimes it’s good to poke a little fun at the seriousness of their performances. The internet meme tradition of ‘shreds’ provides sharp, musically intelligent satire across all genres, and here’s a splendidly seriousness-busting example from the Trans-Siberian March Band, making fun of the revered King’s Singers’ delivery of the anonymously authored seasonal favourite Gaudete.
