London Gigs: 22-28 September 2014

Gig Of The Week

In January 2013 the Barbican hosted a night of North African music, featuring the likes of Sidi Toure, Tamikrest and Bassekou Kouyate. It was a wonderfully eclectic, rousing night that earned five shiny stars from our reviewer, so we’re excited about the return of Sahara Soul this week. The 2014 edition, on 27 September, features some a new generation of artists from the mystical, sprawling region, including Aziza Brahim, Tartit, Nabil Baly Othmani and Noura Mint Symali.
