London Gigs: 5-11 October 2015

Gig Of The Week

PJ Harvey and Seamus Murphy’s The Hollow Of Hand premieres at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday. An evening of poetry readings, a short film and new music, inspired by trips to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington, DC. PJ Harvey collected the words and Murphy the pictures, for this show and a book of the same name.

Announcement Of The Week

A Lush reunion has been rumoured for some time, and fans have finally been put out of their misery, with the announcement of their first shows for over 20 years, with two gigs at the Roundhouse, on 6 and 7 May next year. Their label, 4AD are also releasing a vinyl issue of the band’s best of compilation Ciao!, in November, followed by a limited edition box set, Chorus, at the beginning of December.
