Motto is the first new material from the band following the departure of bassist Doug Adams and the addition of Nile Marr and Sam Pryor on guitar and bass respectively. Once again produced by long-time collaborator John Goodmanson (Sleater Kinney, Los Campesinos!) in Seattle, Motto sees the band carrying on their abrasive yet ultra melodic style with a suitably beefed up sound backing singer Katie Harkins’ distinctive vocals.
The track is taken from the as-yet-untitled follow up to 2010’s Kaleide, which is expected this autumn through Wichita.
