Tyler, The Creator – Domo 23

Tyler, The Creator, the leader of notorious hip-hop collective Odd Future, has announced his return with second album Wolf, the follow up to 2011’s Goblin.

Wolf features three unique album covers all with different images of Tyler himself ranging from playful and whimsical to harsh and distorted.

As well as announcing the album, Tyler has also premiered a wonderfully bonkers video for album track Domo 23. The video features an Odd Future style-wrestling match with Tyler taking on Domo Genesis with Earl Sweatshirt acting as referee. The three of them proceed to ham it up royally throughout. The video appears to be an extension of their comedy sketch show Loiter Squad which airs Stateside.

The track is a typical piece of malevolent Odd Future minimalist hip-hop, featuring the usual provocative lyrics, albeit perhaps slightly less unpleasant than some of the more notorious lines on Goblin.

Wolf will be released in the UK though XL and will be accompanied by a London show on 30 March at a yet to be announced venue.
