All other press releases today are rendered surplus to requirements: After a 35-year gap in playing gigs, Kate Bush has announced she will play a 15-date London residency, starting on 26 August 2014, at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
Taking to the stage of the venue which, when she last played there in 1979, was called the Hammersmith Odeon, she will perform a show titled Before The Dawn.
The dates are: 26, 27, 29, 30 August, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17 and 19 September. Tickets go on sale at 9:30am on Friday 28 March, priced at £49, £59, £75, £95 and £135, plus booking fee.
