Meltdown 2014: James Holden, Grandmaster Flash, Trentemøller added

Even more names have been added to this year’s Meltdown Festival, curated by James Lavelle.

Joining the Unkle founder and Mo’Wax label boss in his takeover of the Southbank Centre are Grandmaster Flash and Scratch Perverts playing together at the Queen Elizabeth Hall; Trentemøller brings a five-piece band to translate his Scandinavian electronica; Detroit DJ Jeff Mills will perform at the Royal Festival Hall; James Holden will be in the Purcell Room; and the BFI will present a selection of films hand-picked by Lavelle, exploring street culture and hip hop.

The latest announcements join a hugely varied line-up, including Chrissie Hynde, Goldie, Radkey, Keaton Henson, Neneh Cherry and, of course, Unkle.

Meltdown takes place on 13-22 June 2014 at the Southbank Centre, London. Find out more here.
