The Summer Sessions includes a world premiere live-scoring of There Will Be Blood, performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra, and featuring Radiohead‘s Greenwood, and exclusive UK headline performances from O’Connor, Ólafur Arnalds and Chilly Gonzales.
Other acts signing up include World Party and Powerpoint Plays Gregory – which will see the sound and video trio perform a new commission by Goldfrapp‘s Will Gregory for the first time in the capital.
One of the highlights includes the Reverb festival, this year curated by Imogen Heap. It’ll include an exclusive first performance of her new album, Sparks, as well as performances from Tim Exile, Leafcutter John, London Contemporary Orchestra, Nick Ryan and The Norweigan Girls’ Choir, aiming to bring cutting-edge contemporary music to a new audience.
The line-up also includes plenty of dance, comedy, cabaret, spoken word and live-scored cinema. And if that wasn’t enough, the Sessions mark the return of Camden Beach, the venue’s outdoor space, kitted out with deckchairs, beach huts and pop-up food outlets.
The Roundhouse Summer Sessions run from 24 July-24 August. More here.
