Kelis, Daughter, Franz Ferdinand set for Somerset House Summer Series

Its line-up is always seemingly plucked out of thin air at random, drinks will set you back a fair whack, and you’d have a job forgetting it’s sponsored by American Express, but the Somerset House Summer Series is now well established as one of the highlights of London’s live music calendar.

Catch the right night and you’re in for a treat; its relatively intimate size makes for a great atmosphere and the surroundings, in the cobbled courtyard, are obviously beautiful.

Announced this morning, the headliners for the 2014 line-up – which plays out from 10 to 20 July – includes Daughter, Kodaline, Bastille, The Cat Empire, Agnes Obel, Kelis, Franz Ferdinand, Sam Smith, Little Dragon, Chvrches and Clean Bandit.
