Track Of The Day: Herbert – One Two Three

herbert Known as one of the most forward-thinking producers around today (he’s made music out of an exploding bomb, a shopping list, a club and even a pig), Matthew Herbert is returning to his Herbert moniker for the first time in eight years.

Kicking things off with the first cut simply titled One Two Three, Herbert employs the talents of London singer Rahel from the band Hejira, to produce a song that is tailor-made for the summer months. Warm, bright and sparkly, One Two Three is basically Herbert giving us his take on acid house by creating one of the most danceable tracks to come out recently.

While One Two Three marks the forthcoming release of the four-track EP, Part 6, Herbert has confirmed that there is plenty more to come with part seven also soon on the way.
